Lindsey, also known as Lacy J or just J, grew up training as an athlete and competitive dancer from a young age throughout college. In college J received her Bachelor of Science in Dance and minor in Psychology. Wanting to continue her passion for movement, Lacy J then enrolled herself in an extensive Pilates training Program, Core Dynamics, in Santa Fe, NM under Pilates master Michelle Larsson. Lindsey not only learned equipment and mat Pilates levels 1-4, but continued her education with Pilates for Scoliosis, Pilates for Pre & Post Natal, Pilates for Golfers, as well as Advanced Pilates training Level 5 on the apparatus and mat.
After 4 years of teaching at numerous Pilates studios (including her own in-home studio in Austin, TX), J took on the Pilates Coordinator position at Equinox in Dallas, TX. While at Equinox she furthered her fitness trainings with Barre, Power Plate, Kettle Bell & ViPR trainings.
After 3 years at Equinox, Lindsey moved with her growing family to Midland, TX where she opened her first brick and mortar studio. It was during her adventure of opening her first studio when Lacy J developed her own style of personal and group training and started her career to teach Body Awareness educational classes.
J Private HIIT programs are for the physically fit client looking for an intense 30-minute full body HIIT class that will target the client's fitness needs/goals. J prefers to teach these at Rebel Pilates Studio but can teach in home studio if needed. J incorporates the Pilates Reformer, Pilates Tower, Pilates Chair, Rebounder, Kettle Bell, Hand Weights, Weighted Ball, Ballet Barre, Resistant Bands, Weighted Balls, Core Ball & more. You do not need to be advanced, but you do need to be physically fit to move (no movement restrictions from surgery or injury. If you have movement restrictions, Private Training is suggested).
J Pilates Training Programs are designed for each unique individual using slow, deep, detailed movement to help clients achieve their fitness/health/healing goals. J uses the Pilates Reformer, Tower, Chair, Mat, Barre and other smaller/basic fitness equipment to help clients achieve their personalized goals whether it be to gain strength, work on balance, lose weight in specific areas of the body, alleviate pain, or any goal they may have to live a healthier/happier life.

J's Body Awareness Classes range from basic human anatomy classes, common body misalignments found during a fitness class, how to train a pregnant client or how to train while pregnant, specific injury movement modifications, where your core is located and how to activate properly, etc. Each program is designed to be fun, enlightening, and with a goal to help clients or fellow instructors understand the technique of Pilates and how to apply to not only their workouts but everyday life. J's goal is to help people live a less painful life through movement & correct engagement.

Beginner to Advanced clients are welcome!! Clients range from just being released from a PT or doctor to physically fit clients wanting to improve their physical fitness.

J uses mainly Pilates apparatus during her trainings but sometimes incorporates smaller equipment if needed to meet each client's fitness goals. J likes to change it up a lot, so you will never do the same workout twice unless you request repeated workouts. With the wide variety of equipment available, J is able to meet almost anyone's fitness goals in a safe & effective environment.
